About this item

RectorSeal® Nickel-Rich™ Anti-Seize and Lubricant, Nuclear Grade, Brush-In Cap Bottle Container, 1 lb Container, Composition: Nickel, Petroleum Odor/Scent, 1.10 Specific Gravity, 430 deg F Flash Point, Flammability: 1

NICKEL-RICH™ is a premium quality anti-seize and lubricant for use in extreme temperatures and hostile environments. The carrier of this remarkably effective compound volatizes at high temperatures and deposits a pure nickel metallic layering on surfaces and prevents metal to metal contact. This allows the solids to serve as a lubricant, cushion, and seal. This layering also prevents the welding under compaction that leads to seizure and galling. NICKEL-RICH™ Nuclear Grade is used extensively in nuclear power generator facilities on land and sea where only certified products are allowed. It contains no ingredients which may poison reactor catalyst beds. It is for use in Class 1, 2, and 3 non-wetted applications for auxiliary equipment in nuclear power plants.

Exceeds military specification MIL-A-97E|OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 191.12)
