SharkBite's Large Diameter PEX Stiffeners are inserts that go inside Large Diameter SharkBite fittings. These PEX stiffeners are required when connecting a SharkBite fitting to PEX tubing. They are not required for Copper, CPVC, PE-RT or HDPE pipe.
